If you are hosting content on Apple servers, you can use the feed editor to manually order items within a collection in your site. Ordering items affects how the items are displayed in your pages in the iTunes U area in the iTunes Store.
To order items within a collection:
Click Collections at the top of iTunes U Public Site Manager.
Click Apple Hosted in the Feed column for the collection whose items you want to reorder.
As a contributor, click Edit Feed in the Title column for the collection whose items you want to reorder.
Sort your list by the Order column, and then drag and drop the items in the order you want them to appear in the collection page. iTunes U Public Site Manager adds new items in the collection to the bottom of the list.
Ordering within a collection is based on the current page item list sort order. To see the items in a page in the same order specified in the feed editor, iTunes users must sort the item list in the page in ascending order using the Track Number column.
For information on ordering items within a provider-hosted feed, see “Provider-hosted content.”
